There is a way to get your YouTube verification check mark in the middle of your name, which is something I have on my channel right here. My verified check mark is in between time and works how the heck did that happen. How is that even possible on YouTube? Well, this is very similar. In fact, it's pretty much the exact same thing as having the check mark on the opposite side of your name. Instead of the right side, it's on the left side.
This was a thing that you can do on YouTube and still can do. I. Just thought, you know, it'd be kind of fun to check out this one as well. So how the heck do you do it? Well, this was shown to me by this user here.
Slip who is a verified artist on YouTube, they have the verified artist badge, and you can see it's in the middle of their name slip with a happy face with the badges in between. So there is a way to do it, and it's pretty much the exact same way as in this video, but just a little different all right. So slip actually uploaded a video about this it's on. Their channel, you can see right here, and it's, very simple, you know, going through it. They give you a tutorial, and it's to do with the YouTube translation glitch, where you basically take the English version of your name and change it to a different language, and then make a translation in English to say, whatever the heck you want and on your channel page, it'll display it as whatever you put. But the way to get the verified check mark in a different spot is to use certain special characters.
This one. Here u 2067, right to left isolate, which is basically an invisible character that sort of shifts things around in your name. It shifts, how they're displayed its kind of weird.
I don't even know why the heck they exist other than for like languages that read left to right instead of right to left. So this is how you do it. Basically, you go to YouTube channel customization.
And you make a new translation here. You can see. I made the English version of random language. I chose polish just because it was.
Right in front of me, right? And then I made the new translation English, and it says time works. So I've typed in time works here. And you know, this is just my normal name, there's, no fancy special characters in here yet. But now we're going to add this character, it's completely invisible.
You can't really even tell where it is just it's just gone. So what we got to do is press copy right? So it gets copied to clipboard now and then go in here and put it wherever in your name you want. So in the original.
Video, I did on this video here we would put it on the right side, and you would paste it twice to get it to work on all browsers. Only once to get it to work on a Google Chrome. I don't know why you have to do it multiple times, but I experimented around. It is this whole thing. You know, I played around so much with it.
And eventually discovered this character allows you to shift crap. Okay, this is just the one that works. But in this case to get the check mark inside your name, you're going to. Want to paste it just in between right so paste it here once and then to get it to work on like Firefox, which is what I'm using you're going to paste it twice, and then you'll see it shifts over here, you're going to want to put it back in here and paste it. A third time, I know, there's so much crap. You have to do, but three times click done and publish, which is exactly the settings I had. So I don't have to publish it, and it will display your name like this.
You see it's, pretty fancy. You have the check. Mark in the middle of your name and that's how you do it, you know, it's kind of cool that these weird. YouTube exploits exist.
It's, not exactly against terms of service. I don't believe, especially because you know, this is still my name I'm still time worked it's, not like I'm, impersonating anyone, but yeah, special. Thank you to slip for doing this. I believe some of the other channels that I covered in this video have started to do it as well. I don't know, I don't know what's up with that. But slip you. Were the one to show me it.
So, thank you very much. And if you thought this video was interesting, please click, subscribe because I'll be sure to show you all these odd, cool fancy YouTube things like this. Thank you guys for watching. And of course, fly on you.
